Full Custom Dress Package

Description

Our Full Custom Dress Package is the completion start to finish of a custom dress or gown to perfectly match your desires.

I will work with you to design the dress you’re dreaming of and bring it into reality.

We’ll start with a one-hour zoom call to discuss what you’re looking for, and view your inspiration and ideas. After I complete the first design, we will have a second one-hour zoom call for your review and any potential revisions.

After your approval on the design and any revisions, you can decide on material sourcing, and I will begin drafting the patterns to your measurements. Once I have the materials in hand, I will create your dress!

Once completed, you can choose to have it shipped to you for a fitting over zoom and back to me for alterations, or if you’d prefer or you’re short on time, you can simply take it to a tailor that’s local to you for alterations. In that case, we will do a zoom review of close ups of the finished details and measurements for confirmation before sending it to you.

I will also create a matching custom illustration of you in your dress on watercolour paper.

 

Unfortunately, I cannot include the cost of materials (fabric, trims, notions, etc) as these can vary by hundreds or even thousands of dollars (for instance if you wanted a ball gown of french lace), but I can help you to find well-priced, quality fabrics that match your vision.

The Full Custom Dress Package:

This includes three one-hour zoom calls: the initial consult, design review, and fitting review.

This includes one design revision. Extra design revisions $50 per.

This includes one fit revision. Extra alterations $50 per.

This includes a Custom Illustration on watercolour paper that will be shipped to you.

I can add digital images for hand-drawn fashion flats or pattern pieces if you like.

This includes a completed dress, custom designed and fit to your measurements.

This includes the Custom Dress Consultation and the Dress Design Package. If you have previously purchased one of these, you will receive a code for a discount on this package.  That way, there’s no disadvantage for starting with the consult or design!

 

THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF MATERIALS/SOURCING. After deciding on a design, I can source materials and trims for you with no markup, at an hourly sourcing rate (This will normally be 3 hours at $50: one hour to source options, a one-hour zoom call to consult with you and obtain your approval, and one hour to purchase the materials), but if multiple trips are required for you to decide, more hours will be required. A typical total would be $150 plus the cost of materials. You will be responsible for the price (including tax) of all materials/trims, which will be invoiced to you and must be paid before I can purchase the fabric/etc.

Alternatively, you can decide if you would like to source your own materials in the required amounts and ship them to me. Perhaps you have a vintage dress you’d like to repurpose?
